Rocky Star to showcase 'Midnight Bloom' in Milan

Indian fashion brand Rocky Star will showcase latest collection ‘Midnight Bloom’ during Milan Fashion Week in Italy. The runway show will take place on February 25 and mix dark inspirations with high octane glamour. 

“It gives us immense pleasure to inform you that our legacy couture label - Rocky Star has been invited to showcase at Milan Fashion week 2023 this season,” announced the brand in a press release. “The 30 year old legacy brand lives at the intersection of aesthetics and function, technology and purpose, artistry and sustainability. Creating a sensory and emotional shift, the collection exudes an artful sophistication that is intended to be treasured for generations to come.”
 
The Midnight Bloom collection is inspired by flowers which bloom at night, representing the beauty of the unknown. Textiles in the collection will include velvets, delicate tulles, and organic muls and floral patterns and voluptuous silhouettes will add drama. With a deep toned colour palette and detailed embroidery, the collection will have a contemporary yet dark air, according to the brand. 

Rocky Star made its foray into the international market last year with its showcase at Los Angeles Fashion Week in the US. The brand has also increased its focus on international distribution and dressed global celebrities including Carrie Underwood, Danielle Campbell, and Elle Smith among others. In India, the brand has recently dressed Bollywood celebrities including Malaika Arora Khan, Kangana Ranaut, Manushi Chiller, Nora Fatehi, and Tapsee Pannu among others.
