Roberto Cavalli Watches partners with AP Group to bolster India presence

Indian retail business AP Group has partnered with Roberto Cavalli Watches to launch the collaborative watch line by Roberto Cavalli and Franck Muller in the Indian market.

Roberto Cavalli by Frank Muller is a line of luxury watches made by Italian luxury brand Roberto Cavalli and premium Swiss watchmaker Franck Muller and the line is now available to purchase in India through the tie-up with AP Group, the business announced in a press release on July 11. For the initial phase of its retail expansion plan for the brand, AP Group will retail Roberto Cavalli watches in select multi-brand stores and online. 
 
“The new line of Roberto Cavalli exudes style, flamboyance and sophistication,” said AP Group’s COO Adi Shroff in a press release. “The collection is glamorous, youthful, bold, and free-spirited. The iconic snake watch from Roberto Cavalli by Frank Muller is a must have for every Indian woman who wants to add something unique to her persona and ramp up her style quotient.”

Made in Switzerland, the watch brand will be available in store chains including Ganga Ram’s, The Golden Time, Luxury Time, It’s About Time, and Watches of Switzerland, according to AP Group. Online, the watches will be available on e-commerce platforms including Myntra luxe, Tata Cliq Luxury, and Approved Club among others. 
 
“Luxury is no longer restricted to developed countries but is also gaining popularity in developing countries in the Asia-Pacific,” said Shroff. “In India, watches are considered a part of fashion accessories and, thus, consumers are shifting from classical watches to luxury brands with innovation and unique design. Our vision is to make premium brands accessible to Indian consumers. With Roberto Cavalli and Roberto Cavalli by Frank Muller in our portfolio, we'll be able to offer the most desirable brand to Indian consumers for which we are really excited.”
