Ritika Kankani, Bani Pasricha to show collections at India Fashion Week London

The Chennai-based designer Ritika Kankani and Delhi-based designer Bani Pasricha will showcase their latest collections at the upcoming India Fashion Week London from November 10 to 11 at the London Olympia.

Ritika Kankani is re-branding her label Rainne by Ritika to “Ritika” and will showcase the brand’s first collections under its new name at India Fashion Week London this November. Kankani will be one of the 12 Indian designers showcasing their work at the sixth edition of India Fashion Week London and she will be the only designer from Chennai at the event.

Kankani will show two collections, one will be a modern fusion wear collection and one will be Indian traditional wear. Kankani, who produces her clothing at two workshops in Chennai, uses Benaras from Varanasi and Kalamkari from Andhra Pradesh.

Bani Pasricha will return to India Fashion Week London this year with her label Bani Couture. The brand recently showcased its winter/ festive collection on the runway at Pernia’s Pop-Up Show on September 22 in Mumbai. Pasricha will take the collection to London this November and showcase her eveningwear in gold and glittery pastel hues.

India Fashion Week London will hold its sixth edition at the London Olympia from November 10 to 11. The event will also feature the Femina India Wedding Show and National Asian Wedding Show.
