Reynu Taandon will kick-off day four of the upcoming edition of India Couture Week, the FDCI announced on Facebook. Taandon, who is known for her opulent bridal couture, has partnered with Archana Aggarwal Timeless Jewellery for the showcase, titled ‘Surkh’.

“The current pandemic has instilled unpredictability to the biggest event of the year,” designer Reynu Taandon told the Fashion Design Council of India.

“The brides and their families look forward to these shows with a vision of finding their dream wedding lehenga. The initiative of FDCI’s first ever digital couture week will change how each one of us will experience fashion."

“The collection is a mix of four ever merging yet distinct colours,” Taandon announced on her brand’s Facebook page. “They have been selected keeping in mind every part of the day and how best it will suit the bride in these wedding times be it a morning, sundowner or an evening wedding.”

Taandon will join other couturiers including Falguni Shane Peacock, Rahul Mishra, Anju Modi, Dolly J, and JJ Valaya among others for the digital showcase.

Reynu Taandon launched her eponymous brand in 1999 and retails under the brands ‘Mynah’s Reynu Taandon and ‘Nikhita- Mynah Designs’. The brands retail through a dedicated e-commerce store and flagship store in New Delhi.
