Revlon launches tailored packaging for Indian market for Top Speed brand

Cosmetics and haircare brand Revlon has developed new packaging for its ‘Top Speed’ hair colour range exclusively for the Indian market. The brand will roll out its new visual identity for the product across India from February and March this year.

“Over the last three decades, Revlon Top Speed has gained the loyalty of millions across India,” said Umesh Modi Group (Revlon)’s vice president Will Pugh, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “The process of research and redesigning our packaging is a testament to our commitment to their needs. We look forward to their support through consistent and constructive feedback that helps us achieve a wider market share while offering best-in-class makeup and personal care products.”
 
Revlon’s new Top Speed packaging design was created with photographer Rafique Sayed, who was tasked with creating photographic assets which meet international standards but cater specifically to Indian consumers. Along with the new Top Speed packaging, Revlon will launch a multi-media campaign including tie-ups with influencers across India. 

Top Speed by Revlon is a 5-minute hair colour product which includes mother of pearl and ginseng root extracts. Through research and development, Revlon found that the range has a loyal following but its packaging was not in sync with the expectations of shoppers in India.
