“The company has grown approximately 300% in the last year in [terms of] revenue, and we recently raised our Series B [funding] round of $25 million at a valuation of $100 million,” said Renee Cosmetics’ director and co-founder Priyank Shah, ET Retail reported. “This development has helped us further pursue the huge opportunities we see in the mass market, and that too in a short timeline.”

The business currently has 175 on-roll employees and plans to add 200 more to this category. Renee Cosmetics also has a current total of 750 off-roll employees and plans to add 800 new employees to this category. The business launched in 2020 and is headquartered in Ahmedabad, according to CrunchBase.

“We continue to grow exponentially on all major e-commerce platforms, as for our offline outreach, we are currently present in 150 cities and intend to increase our presence to 350 cities,” said Shah. “With this strategy in mind, we need strong teams to support us, hence the extensive hiring across the board.”
