The automaker is launching a line of high-end leather goods. Dubbed "Initiale Paris," a signature previously used for versions of its car models the Clio and Espace, the range will primarily target urban men.

"There was work done on a line of leather goods in the past. But it remained in an embryonic stage, focused on derivative products. With this line, there’s something else. There’s a strong desire to create high-value products. We would like to become a competitor of major leather brands," said Alexandra Lecluze, merchandising line manager and co-director for the development of the leather goods line Renault Initiale Paris.
From a briefcase to 24- and 48-hour bags, the eight pieces from the 100% leather line are timeless, chic and practical for prices ranging from 80 to 600 euros.
Renault Initiale Paris is available at L'Atelier Renault on the Champs-Elysées in Paris and in select Renault point of sale.
And to corner a stylish clientele, from February 18-27 Renault Initiale Paris will open a pop-up store at the Joyce Gallery in Paris featuring an interior by Mathias Kiss.
