Reliance's R|Elan and R.R. Lene launch collaboration at Asiatex 2023 in Mumbai

Reliance Industries Limited’s fabric brand R|Elan and textiles business R.R. Lene partnered to launch their collaborative range of sustainable and performance-focused corporate and school uniforms at the Asiatex 2023 trade show at Mumbai’s Jio Convention Centre.

The collaboration is designed to set a new standard for the uniform industry, Reliance Industries Limited announced in a press release. The launch debuted a range of R|Elan™ fabrics which have been designed to cater to the evolving needs of corporate and school uniform consumers.
 
“R.R. Lene took centre stage at Asiatex ‘23, where they not only showcased an impressive array of R|Elan fabrics under sustainability and performance categories but also presented informative demo kits that elucidated the production processes and functions of these cutting-edge textiles,” announced the business in a press release. “These demonstrations were met with enthusiastic appreciation from visitors.”
 
The R|Elan collection included ‘R|Elan GreenGold’, a fabric made from 100% post-consumer used PET bottles; ‘R|Elan EcoGold’, a fabric which biomimics the biodegradation process; ‘R|Elan Kooltex’, a fabric with inherent moisture management capabilities; and R|Elan AirTherm’, a fabric with thermo insulation properties. Asiatex 2023 ran from August 31 to September 2 focused on sustainable textiles global best practices for promoting growth in the uniform industry. 
 
R|Elan describes itself as next-gen fabric manufactured with sustainable practices. The fabric’s qualities include moisture management, odour-free, and thermal insulation and R|Elan textiles are used by a range of fashion and performance wear brands.
