Reliance Centro opens 60,000-square-foot store in Mumbai

Fashion and retail giant Reliance Retail has opened a new 60,000 square-foot, multi-brand fashion and lifestyle store in Mumbai’s Kandivali. The new Reliance Centro department store is located in Growel’s 101 Mall. 

The new Reliance Centro store is spread across three floors and has a roster of 300 brands, Centro announced on Instagram. Brands which feature in the store span a range of Indian and international labels including Armani Exchange, Esprit, Guess, Vero Moda, Only, Jack and Jones, Gas, Mothercare, Aarke by Ritu Kumar, Project Eve, Zivame, and Clarks among others. 
 
With the aim of providing a comprehensive lifestyle offering, the store retails products ranging from apparel, footwear, lingerie, sportswear, and accessories to cosmetics, luggage, and personal care goods. The new store also reflects Growel’s 101 Mall’s transition into the luxury segment of the retail market. 

“Customers are delighted with the diverse mix of brands that Centro brings to the mall,” said Growel’s 101 Mall’s GM operations Gerald Mathew, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “The catchment of Growel’s 101 has evolved significantly with the development of premium residential real estate over the years. We have been witnessing a consistent increase in the basket size of the customers and their preference for premium brands.”
