Reliance Brands to open first Tiffany & Co store in January 2020

Reliance Brands Ltd, a subsidiary of Reliance Industries Ltd has said that it will open the first store for American jeweller Tiffany & Co at Delhi’s Chanakya Mall in January next year.
 

Last month, Reliance Brands had signed a deal with Tiffany & Co to launch the luxury jewellery brand in the Indian market.
 
Reliance Brands currently has brand partnerships with nearly 50 international brands including Armani Exchange, Brooks Brothers, Kate Spade, Superdry, Burberry, Canali, Coach, and Diesel among many others.

Despite the slowdown, Reliance has said that it will open 100 stores for its portfolio of brands during the current financial year.
 
"We are opening the first Tiffany store in January 2020 at Chanakya Mall in Delhi," said Darshan Mehta CEO of Reliance Brands Ltd was quoted as saying by Livemint.
 
“Despite the slowdown in consumption and overall economy, the company's expansion plans and new store openings are on track. We do not measure our business on a quarter to quarter basis. We see long term trends. We are scheduled to open 100 stores in the current year across our portfolio,” Mehta added.
 
Reliance Brands’ products are available at 788 locations spread across exclusive brand outlets, shopping malls, and airports.
