Reebok opens new stores in Kochi, Chennai

Sportswear brand Reebok has opened a new store in Kochi’s Lulu Mall and Chennai’s Phoenix Marketcity Mall to booster its brick-and-mortar presence in South India.

“Reebok store open now at Phoenix Marketcity Chennai, visit now,” announced Phoenix Marketcity Mall on Facebook, sharing photos of the new outlet. The store in Chennai’s Velachery district has an open façade and an entire wall dedicated to sneakers. The brand’s women’s and men’s sports and performance wear fills the rest of the store, illuminated by the brand’s logo. 
 
Reebok also opened a store in Lulu Group’s mall in Kochi’s Edappally district. The store has a similar look and feel to its new Chennai opening with a wide range of athleisure wear on display. 

“Reebok continues to dominate the premium real estate landscape of India,” wrote Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited’s vice president of retail business development on Linkedin, India Retailing reported. The business’ opening of two stores in South India shows its commitment to the market. 
 
US-based brand development and marketing company Authentic Brands Group acquired Reebok from Adidas in 2021. That same year, the business signed an agreement with Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited which now retails Reebok goods through wholesale, e-commerce, and Reebok-branded retail stores in India and Southeast Asia.
