Raw Mango to take part in Selvedge World Fair

Sanjay Garg’s clothing brand Raw Mango will take part in the Selvedge World Fair online event this week. The brand has also launched a number of new product lines.
From September 3 to 5, Raw Mango will join over 100 artisans for the Selvedge World Fair, a virtual textile exhibition and interactive event featuring craft techniques from over 60 countries. On September 5, brand founder, Sanjay Garg, will take part in a seminar on contemporary crafts with textile artist Amy Revier, textile expert Ana de Prado, and designer Chinar Farooqui.
“Visit the virtual Selvedge World Fair between 3-5 September to preview our work and meet makers from around the world,” Raw Mango announced on its Facebook page.
“We will tell our stories, share our cultural heritage and demonstrate sustainability at its very best.”
The brand recently launched a new ‘Botanical’ line of floral print garments and accessories on its new e-commerce store. The collection was created, “Featuring India's abundant flora and fauna, each design is hand painted then digitally rendered onto silks and sheer organza,” designer Garg told Vogue India, about the line.
Raw Mango, which has been very active since the end of lockdown, also recently launched a limited-edition collection of silver brooches, ‘Taslees’. The three designs -- an acrobat, a tiger, and an angel -- launched online as part of Raw Mango’s ongoing limited edition objects line.
