Raw Mango to hold festive showcase in Ahmedabad

Sanjay Garg’s sustainable traditional wear brand Raw Mango will showcase its festive collection in Ahmedabad in collaboration with luxury fashion retailer Elan. The exclusive festive showcase will run from September 28 to 29 in the city’s Gulbai Tekra, Raw Mango announced on Facebook on September 26. 

Raw Mango’s new festive collection features rich yet natural hued sarees with gold metallic selvedge-to-selvedge finishes and golden blouses in traditional cuts. The collection highlights the natural sheen of Varni tissue silks and lets the textiles make the statement. 
 
“Presenting an edit of saris, textiles and garments that evoke memories of festivity and joy,” wrote Raw Mango on Facebook about the new collection titled ‘Festive Edit’. “The collection is a celebration of lustrous and classic metallics on silks from Chanderi and Varanasi.”

The brand has just completed a virtual pop-up in collaboration with luxury retailer Mother of Two. From September 21 to 25, Raw Mango held a customs-free promotion on the e-commerce store to enable shoppers in the US to browse its latest festive looks with free shipping . 
 
Raw Mango is known for its use of handloom textiles and minimalist take on traditional opulence. The brand retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and flagship stores in India, including its most recently opened store in Chennai, which launched this June.
