Raw Mango to hold festive showcase at Amethyst, Chennai

Sanjay Garg’s clothing and lifestyle brand Raw Mango will hold a festive showcase for its collection ‘Moomal’ at multi-brand boutique Amethyst in Chennai, from February 9 to 11.

 
Amethyst has partnered with Raw Mango once again for an occasion wear showcase in time for the spring wedding season, the boutique announced in a press release. The showcase will run on an appointment basis with social distancing measures in place.
 
Raw Mango’s latest festive collection Moomal is a nostalgic and romantic take on traditional aesthetics reimagined for the modern age. The womenswear collection features sarees, blouses, blouse fabrics, odhanis, lehengas, kurtas, trousers, and jackets, which will all be on display at Amethyst. 

Inspired by the aesthetics and customs of Rajasthan, the collection tells a story of immortal love between Moomal and Mahendra. The central motif of the vibrant collection is the peacock and heritage handicraft techniques including metallic gota, bhandej, and hand-embroidery. 
 
Amethyst has held a number of showcases for Indian luxury brands including Archana Rao and Shorshe. The boutique is located in a restored mansion surrounded by a sizeable garden and first opened its doors in the year 2000.
