On February 21, Raw Mango launched its latest ready-to-wear collection in its flagship stores and on its e-commerce store, the brand announced on Facebook. The collection launch was accompanied by a collaborative short film.

The film and campaign sees models wearing oversized ceramic eyes made by artist Vikramaditya Sharma with faces painted red or green, exploring Garg’s ‘supernatural as natural’ theme. Models Karishma Sharma and Rhea Seth Arora wander a barren landscape and show off the collection’s bright, loose fit garments.

Sanjay Grag art-directed the film, along with Vikramaditya Sharma, and they created the effect of an extraterrestrial landscape and presented, “acidic colours are set against arid land, calling to the other within,” the brand wrote on Facebook. The film also features music by Sid Vashi, colour work by Gaurav Arora, editing by Akshay Sharma, graphic design by Now Form, and videography by Vikas Maurya.

On February 25, Sanjay Garg will join Raw Mango’s creative director Adityan Melekalam, and Border and Fall’s Malika Verma for an Instagram live session to discuss futures within craft, design, and ‘Made in India’. The talk, titled ‘Communicating Raw Mango’, will explore how the creatives present their vision to the world.
