Ranna Gill presents versatile fusionwear with 'Floral Opulence' at LMIFW Digital
Womenswear designer Ranna Gill presented a feminine and floral collection compiled from wearable, seasonless pieces for her first digital showcase at Lotus Makeup India Fashion Week.
On October 15, Ranna Gill launched her latest womenswear collection on the digital runway at the Fashion Design Council of India’s first online edition. Gill’s collection, ‘Floral Opulence’, was a mix of fusion wear and resort wear, and included looks for the beach, the day, and the night.
Models wore a black smokey eye by fashion week sponsor Lotus Herbals makeup framed with small, white feathers to five the models the look of a tropical bird. Hair was worn in a simple low ponytail, accessorised in some cases with glittery hair bands. Some models wore glittery stilettos and others wore white trainers to show the intended versatility of the collection.
Mixed floral prints on floaty dresses created a vibrant look and gold prints on black satin brought to mind vintage Versace designs. Stripes and coloured tassels also made an appearance.
Ranna Gill launched the collection in-store and online simultaneously with the digital showcase enabling shoppers to buy looks straight from the runway.
“The collection embodies rich floral prints in cool hues and breathable fabrics in sexy, easy to wear styles,” Gill said about her collection on Facebook.
