As part of Ralph Lauren's 'Way Forward Plan', a total of three senior executives have been appointed this month in a bid to turn the fashion business around.

The New York-based company said Bill Campbell has been named corporate senior vice president of global supply chain and inventory management, while Jeff Kuster - poached from HSN's Cornerstones Brands - will take up the role of group president for the Americas.

Having started July 11, Kuster will oversee all commercial activities for the Americas region, including "wholesale, retail, e-Commerce, factory, travel retail and Latin America", said Ralph Lauren in a statement.

Campbell moves over to fashion after working with Amazon Inc. for the past 11 years in key distribution and logistics leadership roles. Starting in October, Campbell's expertise lies in managing inventory and improving supply chain performance and reducing delivery times for customers.

The pair will join Jane Nielsen, who was recently named Chief Financial Officer as part of Ralph Lauren's turnaround plan. In an expanded CFO role, in addition to finance, Nielsen will oversee store operations, procurement, IT and Investor Relations. She commences with Ralph Lauren in September.

All three will report  directly to Stefan Larsson, President and Chief Executive Officer.
