Rajesh Pratap Singh opens LMIFW with ‘Falling 2020’

Designer Rajesh Pratap Singh opened the Lotus Make-up India Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2021 being held in its phygital avatar this year with his collection ‘Falling 2020’.

Nitin Bal Chauhan, Vaishali S, Payal Jain, Namrata Joshipura, and DHI also showcased their collections on day one of the event.
 
Talking about his collection, Singh in a statement said: “Falling 2020 is a contemporary edit with bright pastel hues and extensive use of hand block printing techniques. Handloom, glass cotton proprietary weaves from our textile unit in Neemrana and silk satins comprise the fabrics used in the collection.”

The other participating designers in the fashion week include all the leading names like Varun Bahl, Tarun Tahiliani, Suneet Varma, Shivan & Narresh, Shantanu & Nikhil, Rohit Gandhi + Rahul Khanna, Rina Dhaka, and Geisha Designs, among others.
 
The Fashion & Design Council of India (FDCI), the show organisers, have also created an online ‘Designer Showroom’, where designers can upload their lookbooks and place orders with their domestic and international buyers through virtual meetings.
