Rajesh Exports bags order worth Rs 1,352 crore from Germany

Leading India jeweller and gold exporter Rajesh Exports has bagged an order worth Rs 1,352 crore ($185.9 million) from Germany for a designer range of gold jewellery.
 

This is the company’s first major order post the Covid-19 pandemic and it expects to complete the order by March 31, 2021.
 
Rajesh Exports will be executing the order from its manufacturing facilities, which is among the world's largest gold manufacturing facilities. It expects more orders in the coming months and confident that it will be able to reach its pre-Covid revenues and profitability in the coming quarters.

“During the pandemic, we very cautiously handled our business and we had ensured that the company does not suffer any losses, we have been able to post profits even during the pandemic," said Rajesh Mehta, Chairman, Rajesh Exports

"The revenue and profits were significantly lower during the pandemic, which was a part of our thought-out strategy of handling the business during the pandemic," he added.
 
Rajesh Exports is a gold retailer in India that refines, designs, and sells gold and diamond jewellery. The company has 82 retail jewellery showrooms under the name Shubh Jewellers, and supplies jewellery to about 5,000 retail showrooms across the globe.
