Rajesh Exports Q3 net profit rises 32 percent to Rs 300 crore

Rajesh Exports witnessed a 32 percent rise in its net profit to Rs 300 crore ($40.1 million) for the third quarter ended December 2021, as against a net profit of Rs 228 crore in the year-ago period.

The company’s revenue for the quarter rose by 42 percent to Rs 65,179 crore, as against Rs 45,586 crore it reported in the corresponding period of the previous fiscal year.
 
Commenting on the Q3 results, Rajesh Mehta chairman of Rajesh Exports Ltd in a statement said, “I am pleased to state that the company has been able to maintain its profitability track record and the company is on track to achieve its growth plans.”

“The uncertain period of the pandemic seems to be coming to an end. The company has been conservative and cautious during the pandemic period, hopefully the company will take aggressive measures during the next financial year to continue with its pre-pandemic growth plans,” Mehta added.
 
Rajesh Exports is a gold retailer in India that refines, designs, and sells gold and diamond jewellery. The company has 82 retail jewellery showrooms under the name Shubh Jewellers and supplies jewellery to some 5,000 retail showrooms across the globe.
