Rajdeep Ranawat, Tanieya Khanuja to showcase collections at Lakmé Fashion Week

On the last day of upcoming Lakmé Fashion Week, brands Rajdeep Ranawat and Tanieya Khanuja will both showcase their summer/resort collections on the runway in Mumbai. 

 
Rajdeep Ranawat will showcase a range of rich colours and intricate patterns on the runway at the upcoming edition of Lakmé Fashion Week on February 16, the event announced on Facebook. The designer has developed detailed printing techniques that allow for a large amount of detail whilst keeping the fabric light and easy to wear.
 
Rajdeep Ranawat founded his eponymous brand in 2004, after working in the Paris and New York fashion industries. The brand retails women’s ready-to-wear and couture in India, in a range of multi-brand luxury boutiques such as Ogaan, as well as in multi-brand stores internationally. 

 
Tanieya Khanuja’s upcoming collection will stay true to the brand’s classic and delicate take on femininity with pastel gowns and delicate embellishments. Deep reds and blacks will add dimension to the collection and floral motifs will feature in hand embroidered detailing.

National Institute of Fashion Technology alumni, Taniya Khanuja, launched her womenswear brand in New Delhi after working in the UK. Khanuja’s brand currently retails across India and the UK, according to the brand’s Facebook page. 
 
Lakmé Fashion Week will run from February 12 to 16, at JioWorld Garden in Mumbai. The fashion week celebrates its twentieth anniversary this season and will also celebrate sustainable fashion, jewellery design, and up-and-coming designers.
