Rajdeep Ranawat showcases ‘Sindh’ collection at Lakme Fashion Week

Designer Rajdeep Ranawat showcased his ‘Sindh’ collection on day five of the Lakme Fashion Week winter/festive edition 2019 in Mumbai.

The designer collaborated with French high-fashion brand Ceriz for his Sindh collection. The collection included loose silhouettes, shirts with dhotis, biker jackets with dhotis, anarkalis, shararas and skirts, with a few menswear pieces.
 
The designer has used contemporary techniques in printing and embellishments like Swarovski crystals with lacquer finishes. Ranawat has been collaborating with Swarovski for nearly two decades now for all his collections.

“The collection is inspired by the woman who is an urban nomad with a sense of luxury and confidence," Rajdeep Ranawat said in a statement. "Sindh is reminiscent of the mists of time, rooted in the present. Showcasing at LFW has always been a great experience! It was absolutely heart-warming to see the people understand & appreciate the designs and the concept behind them.”
