Rahul Mishra collaborates with Fizzy Goblet for jutti collection

Designer Rahul Mishra has collaborated with footwear brand Fizzy Goblet on a collection of handcrafted juttis entitled ‘Rahul Mishra x Fizzy Goblet’. The collection will launch on Fizzy Goblet’s online store.

 
Rahul Mishra, who became the first Indian designer to join the official Paris Haute Couture calendar last year, has joined forces for the first time with the footwear brand, offering a collection that merges Mishra’s attention to detail and use of embellishment with Fizzy Goblet’s modern take on the traditional jutti.  
 
Some juttis feature more traditional floral motifs and others are more experimental, with sneaker-style laces and frills. Beading, appliqués, and embroidery adorn the juttis and the collection’s colour palette and handcraft techniques are inspired by Mishra’s recent collections. 

“Rahul Mishra is a master of detail. We have always loved his use of color, 3D technique, embroideries and just the way his mind works,” said Fizzy Goblet’s founder and designer, Laksheeta Govil, in the brand’s press release.  
 
“It is believed by us at Rahul Mishra that fashion flourishes when sprouting through the foundation of strong individual expression and accessibility,” said Mishra in a press release.

“Rahul Mishra x Fizzy Goblet allows us the opportunity to bring the design aesthetic that Rahul Mishra stands for, to a wider audience that is young and independent.”
