Rado launches new watch as Tata Cliq Luxury exclusive

Luxury watch maker Rado has launched its new watch, ‘Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton’, as an exclusive in India on Tata Cliq Luxury’s e-commerce store. This is the first time the platform has acted as an exclusive retailer for Swiss business Rado. 

“Tata Cliq Luxury is the leader in the omni-channel luxury sector in India, and we have a very strong portfolio of renowned watch brands on the platform, Rado being one of them,” said Tata Cliq Luxury’s chief business officer Gitanjali Saxena in a press release on April 17. “Rado is regarded as one of the most forward-thinking design players in the watch industry, and they come with an enduring legacy that combines high-tech materials and state-of-the-art design to craft watches that are both exquisite and timeless.”
 
The watch features a matt finish mono-bloc case which is framed by a circular-brushed plasma high-tech ceramic bezel. The watch’s ceramic skeleton design is fabricated to showcase the timepiece’s R808 movement and the watch’s glass has a lightly smoked tint.

“While the brand and its various collections are available on the platform, for the first time ever, their latest timepiece, the Rado Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Skeleton, will be exclusively available on Tata Cliq Luxury,” said Saxena. “This particular timepiece reaffirms Rado as the Master of Materials, as it brings together the virile, primal forces of the mineral world into a plasma high-tech ceramic creation of the utmost reliability, precision, and originality. We look forward to continuing to build an exclusive online assortment for the brand on the platform.”
 
Tata Cliq is a Tata Group multi-brand e-commerce store which specialises in luxury fashion and lifestyle goods. The e-commerce store houses Indian and international luxury brands including Lamy, Lacoste, Fossil, Diesel, Seiko, as Versace among others.
