Radley: Justin Stead named new CEO

Justin Stead, previously the CEO of British luxury jeweller Aurum Holdings, has been named the new CEO of British handbag and accessories label Radley, the company announced today.

Stead, who spent 8 years at the Fossil Group in Dallas, most recently as Senior VP, takes up his new post on May 6th. He said: "Radley has great products that combine quality and beauty. As a distinctive London brand, it has all the ingredients to compete on the world stage. Its recent renaissance is highly encouraging. I am truly excited to join the Radley Team and to have the opportunity to make my vision for the Radley brand become a reality."

Radley currently has 33 stores in the UK and a growing international presence. Roger Best, Chairman of Radley + Co, said: "We are delighted that Justin will be leading Radley. His proven track record in building outstanding success at Aurum and his considerable international experience of developing international distribution and accessories brands will be of significant benefit to us as we grow internationally."

Stead was at Aurum Holdings for seven years before stepping down in 2014, he replaces Xavier Simonet at Radley + Co.
