RIL's Only Vimal opens in Surat

Only Vimal, the textile division of Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), has come up in Surat, the biggest market for saris and dress materials in India. With the brand's re-launch in January this year, the range has now been expanded to over ten catalogues, with the addition of new collections like Sonali, Arunima, Aashriya, Ishita and Sanjoli.

"The Surat office will help us feel the pulse of the market and respond quickly to the ever-changing needs of it. Our main goal is to ensure that our existing clients get all the service and the support they need in time. We also wish to extend a warm welcome to sari dealers visiting Surat, looking for avant garde fashion, style and quality for which Reliance is renowned," Pradeep Bhandari, CEO of Only Vimal, said.

"We are excited to bring the latest range of materials in modern design for the modern women of India," said Vivek Mehta, head of marketing, Only Vimal.

Surat is known as the textile hub of the nation, and flaunts the label, the 'Silk City of India'. It is famous for its cotton mills and Surat zari craft. Over the past few decades, the city has emerged as the biggest centre of man-made fibre (MMF) in India.
