R for Rabbit launches baby care line

R for Rabbit has launched a new product category named ‘Pure & Beyond’. The direct-to-customer baby product brand’s new offering marks its foray into baby care with a line of skin and body care products. 

New launch Pure & Beyond features a range of baby creams, lotions, soaps, body washes, shampoos, baby powders, and baby oils, R for Rabbit announced in a press release on October 11. The new product category is made from organic and plant-based ingredients including almond, lavender, oatmeal, coconut, and avocado among others.
 
“The Pure and Beyond range is extremely special to us,” said R for Rabbit’s founder Kunal Popat in a press release. “Great skincare for babies is crucial because they don't develop a full skin barrier until around two years of age. This makes their skin extremely delicate and much more prone to irritation and dryness. The 'Pure and Beyond' range is something we have been developing for a while now. It's made with natural, chemical-free ingredients and will cause no toxicity to the baby's skin. We love the outcome and are extremely excited to finally share it with our consumers.”

Kunal Popat launched R for Rabbit in 2014 and the company raised Rs 40 crore in funding from private equity firm Xponentia Capital Partners in 2021. This investment helped enable the business to expand across India and into the Middle East. The business now plans on expanding into Nepal and Bhutan.
