Quiz links up with Zalando, to sell via German, French and UK sites
Fast-growing UK fashion retailer Quiz has signed a brand partner deal with e-tail giant Zalando and is now available through the Germany-based retailer. Its products are currently available on the German site and will roll out to the UK and French sites shortly.
A selection of the brand’s core collection will be available through Zalando’s site including eveningwear, occasionwear and smart casualwear.
The move is an important one for the UK firm with Zalando being Europe’s largest online platform for fashion and Quiz’s biggest international online partner to date.
Quiz has been growing its online presence for some time and for the last year for which full results are available (the 12 months to March 31 2016), its e-sales surged 33%. And that pace doesn’t appear to have slowed down with e-tail sales in March this year surging by 103%.
This growth has been boosted by its international footprint both online and in physical stores. Using a mix of consignment, concessions and a franchise model, Quiz trades in more than 20 countries across mainland Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
It will be launching on a direct dispatch model with Zalando with all orders completed and shipped from its distribution centre in Glasgow, UK.
Sheraz Ramzan, Business Development Director of Quiz said the company will continue to expand its online capabilities with “ongoing investment in our own sites as well as actively seeking mutually beneficial partnerships.”
Zalando is one of the most visited e-commerce sites globally with more than 200 million visits per month and more than 20 million active customers.
