Questerra to hold fashion and textile networking and information session in Delhi

The India-based experimental learning platform and travel company Questerra will launch its Indian Contemporary Intensive fashion tour from May 4 to 10 and visit Delhi, Varanasi, and Kolkata to introduce students to a number of designers and industry professionals.

As part of the week-long tour, Questerra will hold a public networking and information event on May 5 in Hotel Thikara, New Delhi. The event will promote the business’ Europe fashion tour and encourage fashion designers and bloggers to network with each other. On May 10, Questerra will hold another similar event in Kolkata for designers in the city. The networking events are free to attend and open to all. 

A group of 10 fashion designers who have toured across India with the business will share their experiences and what they have learnt. Guests will discuss the Indian and global fashion industries as well as textiles, social media, and marketing. The networking events aim to promote collaborations between designers in different Indian cities. 

Questerra’s India fashion tour will also include inputs from the fashion blogger Param Sahib who made a name for himself online before launching his eponymous clothing brand. Textile business Ekaya’s CEO Palak Shah and Jaipur-based clothing designer Saachi Thahrymal will also take part. 

The tour also includes a trip to Varanasi to meet with local artisans and visit their workshops. The participants will also travel to Kolkata to learn about textiles including muslin, kantha, jamdhani.

Questerra was founded by Rishabh Manot who is also the business’ CEO. The business organises fashion tours for designers, bloggers, and industry enthusiasts and is based in Bengaluru.
