According to the Milanese daily newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore, Mayhoola for Investments, the company belonging to the reigning family of Qatar, has set its sights on Lanvin.

The Qatari investment firm, which in 2012 acquired luxury Italian house Valentino and in 2014 the menswear label Pal Zileri, is also trying to get its hands on Missoni, says the newspaper.

French high fashion house Lanvin has an international presence with standalone stores on nearly every continent. In the Middle East it notably has stores in Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Lebanon and Qatar.
