Puma names new Area General Manager Nordics

Sportswear retailer Puma announced on Tuesday the appointment of Anders Jonsson as new Area General Manager Nordics, effective immediately. Jonsson will be responsible for the Nordics operations of the Germany-headquartered company.

The 47-year old executive joined Puma in 1990, where he has served in several roles including Product Manager, Business Unit Manager, Country Sales Manager and most recently, Head of Sales for the Nordic countries. During a transition period, Jonsson was jointly responsible for managing the Nordics Area in 2015, after Peter Bedsted left the company.

Jonsson will be based in Sweden and report to Martyn Bowen, General Manager EMEA.
