Puma names Kareena Kapoor Khan as its new brand ambassador

Global sports brand Puma has named Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan as its new brand ambassador in India.
The actor joins a host of women personalities like Adriana Lima, Selena Gomez, Cara Delevingne, Sara Ali Khan, MC Mary Kom, and Dutee Chand that endorse the sports brand.
Kareena will be seen promoting Puma’s soon-to-be-launched apparel collection called ‘Studio Collection’, which will have apparel for yoga, barre, and pilates workouts. The collection will be launched in April and will be available on the brand’s website and stores.
Commenting on her association with the brand, Kareena Kapoor Khan in a statement said: “This new partnership with Puma allows me to connect with and encourage more women to lead a fit and healthy lifestyle. I’m looking forward to everything Puma and I have planned in the coming months.”
Abhishek Ganguly, general manager at Puma India and Southeast Asia added: “Kareena personifies our philosophy ‘where the gym meets the runway’. She is not only an inspiration but is also a true embodiment of what it means for women to maintain a healthy lifestyle while donning multiple hats. We are thrilled to have her join the Puma family. Puma has 360 stores across 120 cities and is present across e-commerce platforms in India. It had reported a revenue total of Rs 1,413 crore ($212.4 million) in India in the financial year 2019.
