Puma India signs cricketer Harmanpreet Kaur as brand ambassador

Sportswear brand Puma India has signed Indian women’s cricket team captain Harmanpreet Kaur as its brand ambassador.

With this association, the cricketer will endorse the brand’s footwear, apparel and accessories through multiple activities, campaigns throughout the year.

Kaur joins Puma’s roster in India which includes Harleen Deol, Avani Lekhara, Sunil Chhetri, MC Mary Kom, Virat Kohli, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, among many others.

Commenting on the association, Abhishek Ganguly, managing director at Puma India in a statement said, “We are delighted to welcome skipper Harmanpreet Kaur into the Puma family. The way she plays — bold and fierce cricket - she is the perfect fit for our brand which embodies the same qualities and ethos. Harmanpreet is a sporting icon, and, with this partnership, we hope to inspire younger generations and help Indian women’s cricket reach greater heights.”

Puma is one of the highest selling international sportswear brands in India. It currently has around 360 stores across 120 cities and is present across e-commerce platforms in India.
