Sportswear brand Puma India has extended its association with footballer Gurpreet Singh Sandhu for another four years.

The extension of the deal makes Sandhu the first Indian football player to stay with Puma for almost seven years.

Sandhu, who plays Bengaluru Football Club as goalkeeper will continue to endorse the brand across platforms and will be one of the top faces for the brand in their promotional activities.

Commenting on the deal, Gurpreet Singh Sandhu in a statement said, “I am happy that the association with Puma has continued. They have been a great support not just for me but also for the entire sporting community. I hope our partnership inspires the younger generation to take up the sport.”

Puma is one of the highest selling international sportswear brands in India. The brand’s roster of ambassadors in India include Harleen Deol, Avani Lekhara, Sunil Chhetri, MC Mary Kom, Virat Kohli, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Anushka Sharma, among many others.
