Priyanka Chopra wears Sabyasachi Mukherjee, Ralph Lauren, and Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for wedding

Priyanka Chopra wore creations by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for her Mehendi and Sangeet, Sabyasachi Mukherjee for her Hindu ceremony, and Ralph Lauren for her Christian wedding.

The Bollywood star Priyanka Chopra has just wed the American celebrity musician Nick Jonas in a dual Hindu and Christian ceremony. The event design was planned by the design duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla who also dressed her for two of the main occasions: the Mehendi and Sangeet celebrations.

For her Mehendi, Chopra wore a multi-hued Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla ensemble paired with fresh flowers and fine jewellery. For her Sangeet, Chopra chose another design by the brand, this time a sparkly white and ivory outfit in which she danced alongside both families.

For Chopra and Jonas’ Hindu ceremony, the couple both wore custom Sabyasachi Mukherjee designs. Chopra wore a red lehenga and Jonas was dressed fully in gold. Mukherjee posted on his social media that Chopra’s outfit took 110 embroiderers from Kolkata a total of 3,720 hours to create. Mukherjee also created custom jewellery for the bride using “uncut diamonds, emeralds and Japanese cultured pearls in 22 karat gold.” Jonas’ sherwani was also custom made and he wore jewels from Mukherjee’s Sabyasachi Heritage Jewelry collection.

For the Christian wedding ceremony, Chopra, Jonas, the bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents, flower girls, and ring bearer all wore Ralph Lauren. The ceremony took place at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur.
