Popxo launches e-commerce platform to sell private labels

Popxo, India’s largest digital community for women has entered the online space with the launch of its e-commerce platform to sell an exclusive product line created by them.

Popxo will initially start off by offering lifestyle products on the platform in the price range of Rs 299 to Rs 999 and later expand by adding fashion and beauty to its portfolio in the coming months.
 
With its exclusive product lines, Popxo is looking to tap the millennial audience especially women on the platform to boost sales of its private labels. The entire process from production to distribution of product line will be handled by Popxo in house and through partnerships.

Commenting on the launch, Popxo Founder & CEO Priyanka Gil said, “Millennial women are a large and under-served market, especially in the lifestyle products category. The Popxo ecommerce platform will create and sell product lines especially for them. We already know what appeals to women online - our private label is a natural extension.”
 
Shubham Jain, Business Head of Ecommerce at Popxo added, “From design to production and distribution - we are running the entire process in-house and via our partnerships with service providers.  It is very exciting to launch ecommerce as we have a large, established buyer base and proven marketing strength.”
 
Popxo is one of India’s largest digital communities for women with over 17 million active users every month. The company had raised Rs 37 crore in March this year from new investors like Neoplux and OPPO, along with existing investors IDG Ventures India, Summit Media, and Gree Ventures.
