Pond’s names Siddhant Chaturvedi as its new brand ambassador
Pond’s, the beauty brand from Hindustan Unilever Limited, has named Bollywood actor Siddhant Chaturvedi as its new brand ambassador for the Indian market.
The actor will be seen endorsing Pond’s men’s range of grooming products and will also feature in Pond’s soon to be launched campaign ‘Scene change kar’ ('Change the scene').
Pond’s has also expanded its men’s range of products and looking to tap millennials with its association with the young actor.
Commenting on its association with the actor, Prabha Narasimhan, category head at Hindustan Unilever Limited in a statement said: “With his vivacious and go-getter personality, Siddhant was a perfect fit for the brand and we are very excited to see how this will pan out. In recent times, we identified that young men are actively seeking solutions to a host of skin concerns. The changing trends point towards the willingness of today’s men to invest in grooming products, indicating that the industry is no longer comprising of just the female care segment.”
Siddhant Chaturvedi added: “I am extremely glad to have partnered with Pond’s Men’s for their new campaign. Especially in today’s time, where men more than ever are looking for convenient skincare products that target specific problems, the Pond’s Men range is quite an apt solution.”
