Plum opens new store in Hyderabad

Skincare and beauty brand Plum has opened a new store in Hyderabad within Next Galleria Mall in the city’s Moosarambagh district of Saidabad. The new store is designed to give shoppers the chance to try out its products in person.

The new exclusive brand outlet retails Plum’s full range of perfumes, skincare, hair care, body care, and cosmetics, India Retailing reported. Plum is focusing on brick-and-mortar expansion to fuel its next phase of growth and the business aims to open 100 stores in the coming two years. 
 
Plum opened its first brick-and-mortar store two years ago in Mumbai’s R-City Mall. The brand now counts offline outlets in cities including Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kolkata, Udaipur, Chandigarh, and Thiruvananthapuram.

Plum describes itself as India’s first 100% vegan beauty brand and uses neither harmful chemicals nor animal products in its skincare and personal care goods, according to the brand’s website. Along with its offline outlets and points of sale, Plum also retails from its dedicated e-commerce store and on multi-brand marketplaces including Flipkart, Nykaa, Amazon India, and Purplle.
 
Shankar Prasad launched Plum in 2013 and the business is headquartered in Mumbai. The Plum Goodness business is owned by personal care and grooming business Pureplay Skin Sciences, which also runs body-care brand Plum BodyLovin’ and vegan men’s grooming brand Phy.
