“We are thrilled with the encouraging response we have received from our exclusive brand outlets since our foray into offline space,” said Plum’s founder and CEO Shankar Prasad, Indian Retailer Bureau reported. “The last two to three years have been phenomenal for us as a brand, as we witness Indian consumers taking to our philosophy of ‘be good’. As we continue to expand our category of products as well as our geographical footprint, we have charted out a roadmap for the next two years wherein we will be opening over a 100 stores across the country.”

Plum currently runs stores in cities including Mumbai, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Kolkata, Udaipur, Chandigarh, and Trivandrum. The brand plans to focus on Tier 2 cities for its next round of brick-and-mortar expansion and has its sights on cities including Surat, Kanpur, Kochi, and Faridabad for store openings this calendar year.

Plum retails its own brand cosmetics and skincare products including cleansers, shampoos, nail varnishes, moisturisers, and lip balms among others.
