Play launches 'fashion smartwatch'
Smartwatch brand Play has increased its focus on the fashion category with the launch of its new ‘fashion smartwatch’. Named ‘PlayFit Flaunt’, the watch is designed to appeal to a new demographic of fashion forward shoppers.
“At Play, we truly believe in designing smartwatches that blend the defined lines of fashion and technology,” said World of Play’s chief product officer, Hamish Patel, Uni India reported. “We always aim to get the latest technology advancement in a very flaunt-worthy product design and Playfit Flaunt is a testimony to fashion meeting technology.”
The new launch comes in two colour-ways, ‘Champagne- Wine’ and ‘Black- Black’ and is priced at Rs 3,999. As well as launching on Play’s dedicated e-commerce store, the new smartwatch has also launched on multi-brand platforms including Amazon India and Flipkart.
“Playfit Flaunt is the latest addition to our adulatory PlayFit series and comes with an envious product design besides multiple modern smartwatch attributes to meet the fitness monitoring requirements of our customers,” said Patel. “We will continue to invest behind technological innovations and launch more such products which integrate fashion with technology and ensure that our products are Flaunt worthy besides being powered by dependable and advanced technology.”
With a dust and water-resistant cover, the smartwatch is designed for use on the go. The smartwatch has over 100 integrated sports-related functions and has a ‘play-time’ of five days.
