Péro to hold collection launch event at Ogaan Khan Market, Malcha Marg

On July 9, Péro will hold a launch event for its spring/summer 2020 collection ‘Millefiori’ at multi-brand luxury fashion boutique Ogaan’s Khan Market and Malcha Marg stores in New Delhi.
Aneeth Arora’s sustainable fashion and lifestyle brand Péro will hold a dedicated showcase of Millefiori, which features a collaboration with artist Nathalie Lété, in two of Ogaan’s New Delhi boutiques next Thursday. As retail continues to open up post-lockdown, a number of brands are increasing their retail activities under the new social distancing and health and safety guidelines.
Péro’s Millefiori womenswear collection is named after the Italian name for the floral decorative technique that inspired the collection’s handmade polymer clay buttons. Péro’s floral, pastel-hued garments also feature ribbon work, beadwork, stumpwork, and laser-cut organza petals used to create 3D texture. The brand also created new floral weaves for the collection by developing the ‘Kadhwa’ technique from Banaras and ‘Jamdani’ technique from West Bengal.
“This season we worked closely with artist and illustrator Nathalie Lété based in Paris, who especially developed illustrations for this collaboration,” the brand shared on its Facebook event page.
“She works with mixing different techniques and mediums to create illustrations, ceramics, textiles, and paintings.”
Péro previously launched the collection at trade shows in Paris, France before the pandemic began and the collection is also available in a number of multi-brand stores in Europe and Japan, which are now open.
Péro announced on Monday that it has created a collection of reusable face masks as part of its ongoing charitable efforts. Sales from the masks will raise money for Indian charitable organisations, Goonj, and Karwan e Mohabbat, and the masks retail internationally at multi-brand boutique Elan in Singapore, and Delhi-based boutique and e-commerce store Moonriver, Péro announced on Facebook.
