Péro by Aneeth Arora showcased their autumn/ winter collection, 'Pink Winter' at Amazon India Fashion Week (AIFW) on March 17.

AIFW, which ran in New Delhi’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium from March 14 to 18, saw Péro debut its latest collection. The collection, which was mainly in red, pink, grey, and black, was a fresh take on tartan. Checked textiles were mixed with the brand’s signature florals textiles and embroidery found on floaty dresses and chunky knits. Large tote bags and sports sandals kept the styling casual as did the models’ hairbands, and hoop earrings.
The brand explained the collection on its social media sites and wrote: “Scottish tartans are revisited this season with re-sized, oversized and undersized blockings celebrating its inherent traditional twists, weaves, and grains, refreshing our love for all things vintage. Although the inspiration is from a faraway land, these tartans have been handwoven by local weavers residing in the hills of Himachal Pradesh.”
The show also featured a goodie-bag in collaboration with Papabubble, a brand that uses a 100 percent handmade process to make sugar candies.
“Together, we created an assortment of candies with skilled caramel artisans filled them up in handpainted jars and wrapped lollipops in handwoven chanderi pouches, our love for storytelling helped up fabricate a journal for all the daily scribbles on hues of pink and coral paper,” explained the brand.
Péro, which means “to wear” in the Marwari language of Rajasthan, was launched in June 2009 by Aneeth Arora.
Arora graduated in fashion from the National Institute of Fashion Technology and has won design awards from both Vogue and Marie Claire. The brand’s flagship store is located in New Delhi.
