The brand brought its menswear line to Italy to expand internationally at the famed trade show, Pitti Uomo. Péro brought a collection that, although at first glance appeared simple, featured signature brand notes and artistic flourishes. Workwear was a major theme with indigo hued thick textiles and the brand’s love of oversized tartan came through in check flannels and jackets.

Aneeth Arora was also recently presented with an award at the government’s Ministry of Textiles “Threads of Excellence” award and fashion show.

“It’s an honour to be recognised by the government of India, Ministry of Textiles, for the work we have done in taking Indian traditions to the global platform,” Arora told Vogue India. “This will inspire a lot of upcoming designers to continue working with the weavers and craftspeople, which will in turn help keep the heritage of traditional Indian textiles alive.”

The brand also recently showcased its womenswear collection at The Vintage Garden in Mumbai from January 4 to 6. The shopping event saw Péro’s womenswear on sale with oversized tartan jackets, delicate floral dresses, and footwear displayed throughout the concept store.
