Sustainable fashion brand Pero has launched a ‘living exhibition’ for its new summer collection ‘Forget Me Forget Me Not’ at its studio store in New Delhi to present its new designs as an art installation. The brand also launched an accompanying fashion film online to depict a lazy summer day full of flowers and creativity.

“Every surface covered with tiny daises that bloom along the feet, as the garments bearing flowers and more flowers in a mix of techniques, textiles and forms appear to float in air on handcrafted twisted wire forms from West Bengal,” wrote the brand about the exhibition on Facebook. “There can never be enough daisies. Our twirling doll got an all-new customised dress complete with a headdress, stockings and gardening shoes as she invites you to try on the daisy jacket and hop on to the rotating platform and twirl along.”

The collection, which has just launched across Pero’s stores, features oversized daisies which adorn large, tailored separates including statement coats and voluminous dresses. The fresh colour palette features whites, yellows, and blues and soft tulle layers add a softness to oversized looks.

Pero means ‘to wear’ in Marwari language, the local language of Rajasthan. Designer Aneeth Arora launched the brand after graduating from the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad as well as the National Institute of Fashion Technology.

Pero is known for its vibrant use of colour, whimsical layering, and blend of traditional Indian and global aesthetics manufactured with sustainable techniques. The retails across the world through multi-brand luxury fashion boutiques.
