A group of local craftspeople made the dolls for the exhibit using bamboo to create oversized renderings of the brand’s signature textile doll with a natural, lightweight structure. The dolls spin around on platforms and wear oversized versions of outfits from Pero’s fall/winter 2021/2022 collection ‘Mini’ in bright hues and with mixed, whimsical prints.

Pero’s shop-in-shop at Ogaan features, “a presentation of timeless, limited edition pieces,” Pero announced on Facebook.

Pero’s move to continue to retail garments from previous collections alongside its current collection and create limited edition design runs is designed to prevent wastage of unsold items and approach fashion in a more sustainable, less trend-driven way. This is part of the brand’s greater commitment to an ethical and eco-friendly production process.

Ogaan has also launched dedicated installations for brands Eka, Eleven Eleven, and Payal Khandwala at its Marcha Marg store as part of its ongoing ‘Winter Carnival’ shopping event, the boutique announced on Instagram. The shopping event features limited edition pieces from the brands and festive displays designed to add some holiday cheer to the store.
