Aneeth Arora’s sustainable fashion and lifestyle brand Péro launched its autumn/winter collection with a fashion film, created in partnership with Lakmé Fashion Week, to promote its upcoming digital edition.

Péro presented its first ever digital fashion show on Tuesday - Péro- Facebook

Péro’s latest collection ‘Disco 2020’ launched online on Facebook and Instagram on September 15 as a fashion film, depicting a joyous party, complete with dancing robots, 1970s influences, and a riot of colour. Models danced around and showcased a range of loose fit, mixed print dresses and separates -- some adorned with sequins and others with the brand’s signature whimsical illustrations by Nathalie Lété.

“The brand always believed in work hard and party harder,” founder and designer Arora told Vogue India about the collection’s party theme. “After a long year of hard work, I felt that the time is right to put out something positive.”

“This showcase is a glimpse of what’s in store at the upcoming digital edition of Lakmé Fashion Week, where we once again push the boundaries of Indian fashion and look forward to future collaborations with Péro,” IMG Reliance’s head of fashion events, Nikhita Punja Bhimjyani, told Vogue India.

Lakmé Fashion Week announced its upcoming digital edition on its Facebook page on September 14. The “season fluid” edition will be broadcast online with dates to be announced soon.
