Péro joins a host of international fashion brands to showcase its spring/summer 2020 collection in the French capital this season. The ongoing Péro showroom on Boulevard Beaumarchais is open by appointment and provides a space for international buyers to view the brand’s latest collection. After opening on September 27, the pop-up runs until October 3 and is organised with Carola Righes.

Péro also took part in the Tranoi trade show, which ran from September 27 to 30 at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The trade show runs four times a year and describes itself as “the leading B-to-B [business-to-business] event of Paris Fashion Week since 1998,” according to its website.

Péro designer Aneeth Arora’s Millefiori collection was created in collaboration with the Paris-based illustrator Nathalie Lété, who creates illustrations, ceramics, textiles, and paintings inspired by pop-culture and folk art from her German and Chinese heritages.

The collection’s name means “a thousand flowers” in Italian and refers to a glasswork technique where many tiny, brightly coloured flowers are created inside a piece of glass. Péro created its own version of the technique for the collection by using polymer clay to handmade its buttons to resemble millefiori, the brand posted on Facebook.
