Pernia's Pop-Up Shop to hold meet-and-greet with Rocky Star in Mumbai

On May 20, luxury multi-brand Indian fashion retailer Pernia's Pop-Up Shop will hold a meet-and-greet with eponymous designer Rocky Star at its Bandra store in Mumbai. The interactive event will feature Rocky Star’s summer 2023 collection, recently modelled by Bollywood celebrity Jacqueline Fernandez. 

“Meet renowned designer Rocky Star in Mumbai and discover jaw-dropping creations by the eponymous label,” announced the brand on Facebook on May 17. “Visit Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio in Turner Road, Bandra West, on the 20th of May. Don’t miss out!”
 
Rocky Star will greet shoppers at the event and share inspirations behind the brand’s latest collection for summer 2023. The bohemian inspired line features rich brocades, textured embellishments, and neutral tones for an earthy effect. Full lehengas contrast with skimpy blouses for a whimsical, modern take on heritage crafts. 

Pernia Qureshi launched Pernia's Pop-Up Shop to showcase Indian fashion brands online. In 2019, the business was acquired by Purple Style Labs Private Limited. The business has since expanded and now runs a number of brick-and-mortar boutiques in Indian metros as well as in London, UK, as well as its e-commerce store. Last year, the brand opened its first brick-and-mortar store dedicated to menswear.
