Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio will present “One-Way Ticket”, a collection by Papa Don't Preach, at its Kala Ghoda store in Fort, Mumbai, on March 4 and 5.
The traditional and fusion wear brand Papa Don’t Preach invites guests to “follow Alice on her journey” with a presentation of its latest collection “One-Way Ticket”. The collection is inspired by Alice in Wonderland and her fantastical journey and the presentation at Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio will be an immersive experience into the brand’s vibrant world.
“The collection takes you to a land 'out of this world',” wrote Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio in a press release. “With an array of hues of pink, lavender, sky blue, yellow, combined with opalescent sequins, laser cut acrylics and cutwork motifs the styles are absolutely unique.”
Traditional wear classics such as lehengas will feature along with fusion wear creations such as gowns, dresses, and hareem pants. Whimsical yet opulent prints adorn garments and ice-cream hues create a celebratory summer aesthetic.
Papa Don’t Preach was launched in 2010 by Shubhika. The brand specialises in bridal wear, resort wear, and cocktail dresses. Papa Don’t Preach’s studio is located at Phoenix Mills in Lower Parel and the brand also retails from its e-commerce store.
