Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio to host Soup by Sougat Paul

Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio in Juhu, Mumbai, will host Soup by Sougat Paul for an exclusive spring/ summer collection showcase on May 29 to bring the designer’s pastel collection to a new audience. 

In the next edition of its packed pop-up calendar, Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio is hosting the brand Soup by Sougat Paul. The brand will bring its latest collection to the store to reach a new audience in Juhu as shoppers in the area will have first access to it offline at the event. 

The collection features soft pastel hues and floral prints with subtle hints of sparkle. Sheer fabrics contrast with heavier textiles and more tailored pieces like pleat-front trousers add a more formal touch. The fusion wear collection also includes more traditional elements such as kurta and lehenga sets. 

Sougat Paul launched Soup by Sougat Paul in 2010 and the designer also runs the eponymous label Sougat Paul and a couture line. The brand is known for its. Soft femininity and modern take on traditional wear. 

Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio is the offline multi-brand retail chain of Pernia’s Pop-Up Shop which initially launched as an online boutique for Indian fashion. The business is now owned by Purple Style Labs which also runs The Stylist and is working towards international expansion for the Pernia’s Pop-Up Studio chain.
